'Patient Education Essentials for Physiotherapy' is written by Associate Professor Roma Forbes from the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Austine Pottananikal, Tatiana Kitano, Benjamin Ong, and Jaide Rynne.
The book is designed to equip physiotherapy students with the essential knowledge and skills to educate their patients effectively. Grounded in patient-centred care, it explores the theories and best practices supporting effective education, emphasising communication skills, assessing learning needs, and developing tailored educational materials.
