UQ alumni membership

Stay connected through the Library. Even after you graduate, you can have access to our physical spaces and a selection of our collections. Sign up for an alumni membership to borrow and access some electronic resources off-campus. Read more about the benefits of membership below.

Alumni membership

Library membership is available for UQ graduates.  

Alumni membership benefits 

  • Off-campus access to alumni resources. Publisher license agreements prevent us from offering complete access to our electronic resources, but we continue to seek to negotiate more access for our alumni members. 
  • Borrow an unlimited number of items from our general collection and request items from our Warehouse storage facility. Visit our borrowing rules for more information.

Membership cost

  • Alumni membership costs $75 per year or $50 per 6 months. 
  • If you have graduated within the last 12 months, you can apply for a New Graduate Alumni Membership. The first year after graduating is free. After that, membership costs will apply.
