Areas of responsibility
As the University Librarian, Caroline Williams is responsible for leading The University of Queensland Library, with a focus on:
- enhancing the student experience of the Library
- developing partnerships and collaborative ways of working
- building support for research, including open access.
Biography
Prior to her appointment at The University of Queensland in February 2019, Caroline was Director of Libraries, Research and Learning Resources at the University of Nottingham.
During her time at Nottingham, Caroline led a student-focused transformation strategy that saw an increase in student satisfaction with library services and oversaw a number of major projects including an award winning library building redevelopment and strategic University-wide projects including research and data management.
