LinkedIn Learning online courses

LinkedIn Learning is an online training platform for building software and other skills.

Access is free for UQ students and staff.

Courses are available for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.

Search or browse for courses in the Business, Technology or Creative tabs.

Access LinkedIn Learning

You must activate a LinkedIn Learning account to access the course content. You don't need a personal LinkedIn profile to use LinkedIn Learning.  

Access or activate your account

  1. Go to LinkedIn Learning
  2. Enter your UQ email address in this format:
    •  Students: s1234567@student.uq.edu.au
    • Staff: use your UQ email address ending in @uq.edu.au
  3. Click Continue
  4. You will be redirected to the UQ Authenticate page. Log in using your UQ username and password.

Linking your Learning account to LinkedIn

  • You may wish to connect your personal LinkedIn profile to your Learning account for additional features like course recommendations for your skills or position, and what’s trending on LinkedIn Learning.
  • If you link your LinkedIn profile, you will be prompted to log in using your LinkedIn account each time you log in via UQ.
  • If you don't want to connect your LinkedIn Learning account to your personal LinkedIn account, select Continue without connecting my LinkedIn account the first time you access LinkedIn Learning.

LinkedIn Learning content can be shared and embedded in Learn.UQ.

LinkedIn Learning app

  • If you download the app from the app store, enter uq.edu.au to log in via UQ Authenticate.
  • Alternatively, use your LinkedIn account details if you have linked your LinkedIn Learning account with LinkedIn.

Note: The LinkedIn Learning app is not available in all locations. If you can't access the app, please use the browser version.
