Make the most of search options to get the results you want.

What you can find using Library Search 

Use Library Search to find and access:

  • physical and online resources such as articles, journals and books
  • learning resources, including course reading lists, exam papers and library guides
  • open access resources, including open educational resources
  • selected UQ eSpace collections, including UQ theses
  • manuscript and unpublished collections in the Fryer Library.

Log in for the best experience

Log in before you start searching so you can:

  • get more search results with quicker access to online resources
  • export and save items to your Favourites
  • save searches, set up alerts, and access previous search suggestions
  • check relevant loan information and options for placing requests
  • check the status of your loans and requests.

Filter before you search

You have the option to select one of the Library Search's filters to fine tune your results from the start. Here's what they will include and exclude.
