Engagement with research partners

Collaborating with authors affiliated with industry, government or hospitals can translate co-created research into your partners' daily practice, which may reflect research impact.

The UQ Strategic Partnerships team can help facilitate interactions with UQ researchers and external partners, including industry, government, and community.

Collaboration evidence

Gather evidence to show your collaboration with external research partners. Collaboration with entities who translate co-created research into their daily practice may reflect impact.

Entities may include, but are not limited to:

  • government departments
  • industry partners
  • organisations
  • hospital researchers
  • clinicians.

The Metrics for grant applications and promotions guide explains how to find evidence of collaboration via your publications in Web of Science and Scopus. You can also obtain further collaboration metrics in the databases that sit alongside Web of Science and Scopus:

You can use the information from SciVal and InCites to identify new opportunities for collaboration. Look for organisations, industry partners, or countries that undertake research in your area.
