Royal Queensland Show Holiday (Gatton) Monday 10 August 2026	Access to JK Murray (UQ Gatton) Library for students and staff with their UQ ID card only and is closed to visitors. The AskUs service point at JK Murray Library is closed. UQ libraries in Brisbane are open as usual.
Royal Queensland Show Holiday (Brisbane) Wednesday 12 August 2026	24/7 spaces at our libraries in Brisbane are accessible to students and staff with their UQ ID card only. Other libraries, collections and services in Brisbane, including AskUs phone and chat, are closed. These libraries are closed to visitors. The AskUs service point at JK Murray (UQ Gatton) Library will be open as usual.
King's Birthday Public Holiday Monday 5 October 2026	24/7 spaces at our libraries in Brisbane are accessible to students and staff with their UQ ID card only. Libraries are closed to visitors. AskUs phone and chat, and the AskUs service point in Central Library (accessible to students and staff only) will be available with reduced hours. Other libraries, collections and services are closed.
