Open education

Sharing educational resources, tools and practices openly improves access to high quality education for all.

Open practices in teaching and learning

Open Educational Resources (OER) are openly licensed materials that can be legally and freely shared, reused and adapted. Open textbooks and other OER provide many benefits for teachers and students, including free access and the ability to update them immediately and easily.

Digital Learning Hub

Find online modules, interactive activities, videos and other digital learning objects licensed for reuse.

Open textbooks

We can support you to create, adopt or adapt an open textbook for your course. You may be eligible to apply for an Open Textbooks @ UQ Grant.

Find OER

Our OER guide will help you find open textbooks, images, video and more. Learn about copyright and Creative Commons (CC) licences for reusing content.
