Sam Searle (she/her) provides strategic direction for developing and managing UQ Library's general and special collections, ensuring that:

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges held in UQ collections are respected and elevated, and Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) principles are embedded in library operations 
• students, researchers, and educators have equitable access to high-quality, affordable resources that support excellence in learning, teaching, and research across all disciplines
• UQ's unique collections are preserved and accessible, showcasing the University's history and cultural contribution to Queensland and beyond.
