Acting Director, Student Experience
Areas of responsibility
Justine is responsible for the frontline Student Experience at the University Library, which includes:
- leading the frontline information and IT assistance and support for students and Library clients
- providing strategic direction and operational oversight for Library space development
- building and enhancing connections with key stakeholders across the University to provide a seamless network of support for UQ students.
Biography
With over 25 years of experience working in libraries, Justine has spent more than a decade contributing to the UQ Library through a variety of roles.
Most recently, she has been in the role of Senior Manager, Scholarly Communication and Repository Services, responsible for the work of three teams who provide specialised research support services: UQ eSpace, Research Data and Open Research Services, and the Research Outputs and Impact teams.
In the role of Acting Director, Library Student Experience, Justine is dedicated to enhancing the learning and academic success of UQ students. A proud UQ alum, Justine is passionate about creating inclusive, engaging, and supportive library environments that empower students to thrive.
