We offer digitisation services and expert advice to support research, teaching and learning.
Our goal is to make significant portions of our Library collections more accessible. The types of items we can digitise include:
- maps and architectural plans
- photographs, negatives and slides
- 3D objects
- bound volumes and rare books
- theses
- departmental papers
- audiovisual materials.

Email Digitisation at digitisation@library.uq.edu.au to arrange a consultation and discuss your specific digitisation needs. Our prices are a guide and we will provide a quote upon assessment.
We aim to process digitisation requests within 30 working days. Turnaround times may vary for large or complex projects. We may suggest alternative digitisation providers when we can't fulfill your request.
All digitisation jobs incur a A$20 administration fee plus the item and page costs outlined our price guide.

- Discounts may be available for bulk requests or other special circumstances upon negotiation.

Our digitisation:
- complies with best practices for digital capture, storage, preservation and access, following the National Library of Australia's image capture standards
- is subject to copyright regulations and cultural assessment.
