Tell us about how you use Library Search by participating in a user experience session.
We're looking for a range of UQ experiences, including UQ students, higher degree by research (HDR) students and UQ staff members. UQ students and HDRs will receive a A$30 Preezee gift card for their time.
These sessions are part of our work to continually improve Library Search.
About the feedback sessions
The feedback session takes about an hour to complete and will be conducted with a library staff member via Zoom or Microsoft Teams during early April 2026.
- answer questions about how you use Library Search on the Library website
- complete tasks in Library Search to demonstrate how you use the system.

The form is open between Monday 2 March and Friday 27 March 2026.
We will then contact the selected participants and expect to hold the sessions in April.
Privacy
During the session, we'll record your browser screen (use of the Library website only) for research purposes. We will not record your face.
- The footage will only be used within the Library for User Experience purposes.
- Your data will be aggregated and anonymised where possible.
Your personal information will be handled in line with UQ's Privacy Policy.
