National Reconciliation Week (NRW) runs from 27 May to 3 June and this year’s theme is ‘All In’. Across UQ there will be events held to explore how all of us can take action to help achieve reconciliation in Australia.
At the Library, we have the UQ has a Blak History Challenge and a National Reconciliation Week display at St Lucia campus to share Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories at UQ. Reflection spaces at Dutton Park, Gatton and Herston campuses will provide an opportunity to reflect on Indigenous allyship and create a personal commitment for change.
All our Library events will run from 27 May to 3 June 2026.

Visit Level 1 of Duhig Tower to explore items from the Fryer Library and University Archives, selected by the Library’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Services and Collections Team to reflect the ‘All In’ theme of NRW 2026.
Being 'All In' means listening deeply, taking responsibility, and supporting First Nations voices, leadership, and self-determination in practical ways. The display brings together:
- material from non-Indigenous allies who have rallied around Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander causes
- images and books by and about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander authors and activists.
Together, these works invite you to learn, reflect, and consider how reconciliation can be lived through everyday actions, sustained relationships, and a shared commitment to respectful futures.
