Trans Day of Visibility on 31 March is an annual day to raise awareness and celebrate the diversity of our trans and gender diverse (TGD) and non-binary communities.

The day is important for TGD people to celebrate their identities and experiences, share positive role models, connect with others and reduce isolation.

The Library will set up a display space with vision statements from TGD people, pledge statements and resources to help you learn, reflect and act and consider your role as an ally.

More than 100 transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary people shared their honest and optimistic dreams for the future with Transgender Victoria.

Visit the display space to read the vision statements, pledges for allies and learn about practical steps that allies can take to help achieve the vision.

Sign the pledge

You can read the vision statements on the Trans Day of Visibility website and sign your own pledge.
