UQ researchers, use our metrics guide and training workshops for support in gathering your metrics for upcoming Australian Research Council (ARC) grant rounds. 

Gather your metrics evidence

Visit our Publication metrics for the Australian Research Council guide for example statements and instructions for finding key evidence to include in your grant application.

Access online metrics workshops

Attend online metrics workshops or watch recordings of recent training sessions.

Publication metrics

Find and analyse your publications in the Scopus and SciVal databases and assist you in extracting metrics for your application.

Research Engagement and Impact evidence

Identify and track engagement and impact evidence using a range of tools such as Altmetric Explorer, PatCite (the Lens) and WorldCat.

Register for Research Engagement and Impact evidence for your ARC grant application (UQ login required).
Wednesday 8 October from 10 to 11am (online).

Book an appointment with your Faculty Services Librarians to discuss the best metrics for your application, or request further individual support for external grant schemes.

  • The UQ Notice of Intent (NOI) period closes on 6 October 2025.
  • Applications due to Research Office by 8 October.

ARC Discovery Projects 27 - NOI due to Research Office by 14 November 2025.
