Scanning service

We provide accessible learning resources in the form of Word, PDF or html depending on the needs of your students. Students should contact a Diversity, Disability, and Inclusion Adviser to discuss their situation and activate UQ and Library Support services.

Submit your requests early, if possible. We try to process requests within 10 working days.

Scanning service conditions

  • This service is available to UQ staff and current UQ students.

  • The service only covers items listed in course reading lists such as books, journal articles and videos that are required readings. It does not cover material such as lecture notes or slides.

  • If the materials provided are in a language other than English, it is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the converted material.

  • For video and audio learning resources, we are only able to provide commercially available sub-titles or automated transcriptions.

  • We only provide services that relate to the conversion of course readings. We do not provide content creation services such as translation or description of source material.
