Support and wellbeing for HackAIthon
Get support from our event staff
Event staff will be onsite to help you during HackAIthon.
Visit HackAIthon Headquarters in the 12-N109 Training Room.
Find event staff:
- Library staff in purple shirts
- Volunteers from the UQ Sustainable Innovators Club (UQSIC) in light and dark green shirts.
Our staff will be available from:
- 8am to 7pm on Saturday 14 March
- 8:30am to 5pm on Sunday 15 March.
IT support
IT support is available via AskUs from 12pm-5pm on Saturday 14 March.
After-hours access
You can choose to stay on to work with your team when each day's event activities end.
Make sure you have your UQ ID card for after-hours access to Central Library.

Keep safe during the event
Keeping safe on campus has information on:
- safe paths and roads to use at night on campus
- emergency call points
- other resources for personal safety.
Check your bus service
Make sure to check Translink in advance, if you intend to take public transport. Check when your last bus leaves at night so you can plan ahead.
Wellbeing at HackAIthon
Remember to take care of your health and wellbeing during the event.
- Take regular breaks.
- Get up, stretch and walk around.
- During meal times, go outside and take a break from your screen.
