Preparing your presentation
Your presentation is your opportunity to convince the judges of the potential of your idea. In your presentation, you must:
- state your team’s name
- state each challenge you’re responding to
- describe your solution, how it addresses the problem (relevance), and your evidence and research
- describe how your idea represents a new or innovative approach to the problem (innovation)
- describe how the solution will create meaningful change (impact).
Make sure your presentation meets the judge's criteria. Your presentation should be 3 minutes long (maximum).
Creating your presentation
You can create your presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint. Ensure the focus is on showcasing your hack.

Software and tools

Copyright for images and other media
Only use images, music and other multimedia that are licensed for reuse, or that you created yourself. Find:
- licensed works
- more open educational resources (images, audio, video).
Submission requirements
Upload your submission early to allow enough time.
You must submit your 3-minute presentation by 12pm on Sunday 15 March 2026.
- All submission materials must be in English.
- Provide links to your developed app, prototype, online resources, or reference applications (if applicable).
- If your hack includes a physical component or prototype, please arrange with event staff to submit it appropriately.
