Making copies of special collections
It is possible to make copies of special collections material in the FW Robinson Reading Room.
A small number of collections or selected sections of collections have restricted access conditions. This material cannot be copied regardless of the copyright status.
Restricted access conditions
Copying of material with restricted access conditions is not permitted. Reasons for restricted access vary and include donor restrictions, to preserve fragile material, and because of sensitive or confidential information.
Generally, you cannot request copies of items with restricted access conditions. Some items restricted because of fragility may be available in digital format in UQ eSpace.
Only the Fryer Librarian can waive restricted access conditions and only in certain circumstances, as indicated in the collection record in Fryer Library Manuscripts.
