There are three levels of service, with additional costs determined by delivery method and volume.


  • Item sent or negative response within 2 hours
  • Service cost: $22 + $44 levy (Non-OCLC)
  • Copies delivered by email or Article Exchange


  • Item sent or negative response within 24 hours
  • Service cost: $22 + $22 levy (Non-OCLC-IFM)
  • Copies delivered by email or Article Exchange


  • Item sent or negative response within 4 working days
  • Copies are delivered by fax, article exchange, or standard post
  • Loans are delivered by airmail. Express Post or equivalent: costs negotiated.
  • Core costs:

OCLC-IFM: article $15, loan $20
OCLC-Non-IFM: article $17, loan $22
Non-OCLC: copies $22, loans $28, microfilm reels $28


  • All prices are in Australian Dollars.
  • New Zealand, Fiji, Singapore & New Guinea libraries are charged Australian rates (-10% GST).
  • Working days are measured in whole days and hours of business are 8am-5pm AEST, Mon-Fri.
  • Loans are for 8 weeks. A single renewal can be requested. Loans are subject to recall after 1 week.

Volume charges

  • Prices for copies are for up to 30 pages. A $7.00 charge applies for each additional 30 pages.
  • Prices for microfilm are for up to 3 reels. Each additional reel incurs a $7.00 charge.
  • Prices for special copying, e.g. fragile materials and maps, are by negotiation.
