Document supply for Australian libraries
Service options
Australian libraries can submit document supply requests via:
- LADD (Libraries Australia Document Delivery)
- Directly, using our online request form (Pre-registration is required - please contact us to register your library)
There are four levels of service, with additional costs determined by delivery method and volume.
Core
Item sent or negative response within 4 working days.
Copies
Service cost: A$21.10.
Additional charges apply for:
- scanned copies of more than 25 pages
- printed items sent via post due to license conditions.
Copies are delivered by a link in an email, CloudStor, Article Exchange or standard post (or equivalent).
Loans
- Service cost: A$32.40
- Loans are delivered by standard post (or equivalent)
Rush
Item sent or negative response within 24 hours.
Copies
Service cost: A$42.00.
Additional charges apply for:
- scanned copies of more than 25 pages
- printed items sent via the post due to license conditions.
Copies are delivered by a link in an email, CloudStor, Article Exchange or express post.
Loans
- Service cost: A$59.20
- Loans are delivered by express post
Express
Item sent or negative response within 2 hours.
Copies service cost: A$63.10.
Additional charges apply for:
- scanned copies of more than 25 pages
- printed items sent by post due to license conditions.
Copies are delivered by a link in an email, CloudStor, Article Exchange or express post.
Loans delivered by negotiation
QULOC (subject to bi-lateral agreement)
- Item sent or negative response within 2 working days
- Given priority over other Core requests.
- Express and Rush levies as above.
- Service cost: $9.90
- Copies delivered by a link in an email, CloudStor, Article Exchange or express post
Conditions
- All prices are in Australian Dollars and are GST inclusive.
- Working days are measured in whole days and hours of business are 8am-5pm AEST, Mon-Fri.
- Loans are for 8 weeks. Renewals may be requested. Loans are subject to recall after 1 week.
- Requests must include a copyright declaration.
Delivery, volume and format conversion charges
- Prices include delivery
- Prices for special copying, e.g. fragile materials, microfiche, microfilm maps, and scan over 50 pages are by negotiation.
