We hope you enjoy the public holidays and study break! Here are the Library opening hours for Easter, the Mid-Semester Break, and the Anzac Day and Labour Day public holidays for 2025.
Library spaces are closed to members of the community during these public holidays.
Easter (18–21 April) and Anzac Day (25 April) public holidays
24/7 spaces and collections are available with your UQ ID card, including the Biological Sciences, Central, Dorothy Hill Engineering and Sciences, JK Murray (UQ Gatton) and Walter Harrison Law libraries. Other spaces and collections are closed. Check our opening hours for details.
AskUs will be closed. Send us a message online and we'll get back to you when we reopen.
Mid-Semester Break, 21–25 April
During the break, we will be open as usual between Tuesday 22 and Thursday 24 April. You are welcome to come in and study or use the collection.

Labour Day public holiday, 5 May
- 24/7 spaces and collections are available with your UQ ID card.
- AskUs is available via chat and phone from 12 to 5pm. Contact us for Library and student IT help. Students and staff can also visit the AskUs service point in Central Library between 12 and 5pm using your UQ ID card for access.
- Other locations and collections are closed.
