• UQ students and staff can access 24/7 spaces after hours using your UQ ID card. Touch the card to the card reader beside the door for entry. 
• Follow our simple guidelines for using and sharing your library spaces.
• Students can book a room at the Library

Hours for community members and visitors

Community members and visitors may access some library study spaces within UQ standard building hours. Facilities available, and library floor plans are linked from the Locations & hours page.

• Architecture and Music Library: 7:30am–7.30pm Monday to Friday and 12pm–5pm Saturday
• Biological Sciences Library: 7am–10pm, Monday to Friday and 7am–6pm, Saturday and Sunday
• Central Library and Duhig Tower: 7am–10 pm Monday to Friday and 7am–6pm, Saturday and Sunday
• Dorothy Hill Engineering and Sciences Library: 7am–10pm Monday to Friday and 7am–6pm, Saturday and Sunday
• Dutton Park Health Sciences Library: 7am–5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays
• JK Murray Library (UQ Gatton): 7am–10pm, Monday to Friday and 7am–6pm, Saturday and Sunday
• Walter Harrison Law Library: 7am–10pm Monday to Friday and 7am–6pm, Saturday and Sunday

  After-hours access is via the corridor between the library entrance and the UQ Health Sciences building
• JK Murray Library (UQ Gatton) (levels 1 and 2)
• Law Library (Walter Harrison Library).
