Request copies from the Fryer Library manuscript collection

You may use this form to request copyright clearance and copies of items from our manuscript collection.

Copyright clearance

You require the permission of the copyright holder to reproduce manuscript (unpublished) materials, including digital objects in UQ eSpace. Copyright is often held by third parties.

We will seek copyright clearance within 30 business days or notify you if the process requires additional time.

Purpose of request

I request the Fryer Library copy and supply to me the manuscript material described below.

Conditions for approval

  1. Other than for the stated purpose, there will be no further copying of the material(s) without written permission of the Library.
  2. Other than for the stated purpose, copies may not be transferred to another individual or institution without permission of the Library.
  3. The Library will be acknowledged as the source of the material(s) in any publication or communication in accordance with the Library's requirements. See Referencing manuscripts from the Fryer Library for guidance.
