Using the Digital Essentials modules
The Digital Essentials modules can be used by students to build digital skills that contribute to their Graduate Attributes. The modules can also be embedded or linked in courses to be used at the point of need.
1. Build graduate attributes
University of Queensland graduates are expected to develop Graduate Attributes. UQ graduates should be Accomplished scholars, Courageous thinkers, Connected citizens, Culturally capable, Influential communicators and Respectful leaders. Read more in the UQ Graduate Statement and Graduate Attributes Policy.
Select modules from the tables below to match the Graduate Attributes or skills you want to develop.
UQ systems
The Use UQ systems module is to help you become familiar with the systems you will need to use at UQ. It covers how to solve common IT issues and has tips on printing, booking rooms, ePortfolios, using Learn.UQ, mySI-net, TurnItIn and email. It has not been assigned any Graduate Attributes but will help prepare you to complete your courses.
