Students who have graduated or otherwise left UQ will have a limited form of access (expired student) to all content within their ePortfolio for a period of 4 years without charge. Further details are available in the Expired Student Accounts guide by Chalk&Wire.

Retain access to your ePortfolio

  1. Log into Blackboard and access your ePortfolio via any of the links in your course site.
  2. Click on your name at the top of the ePortfolio.
  3. Click My Profile.
  4. Click on Profile Actions.
  5. Click Edit Profile.
  6. Change the email address to your desired email address (eg. hotmail or gmail account).
  7. Click Save Profile.
  8. Log out of the ePortfolio and Blackboard.
  9. Click on this Alumni ePortfolio link.
  10. Click the “Forgot your password?” link.
  11. Enter your email address that you just used for your Profile update.
  12. An email will be sent to you with a Reset Password link. Click on the link and type in a new password.
  13. Bookmark the Alumni ePortfolio link for future use. 

Renew your account to full functionality

Expired account holders may wish to regain full access to their ePortfolio account, allowing them to upload new files for ongoing portfolio development. To renew an expired account, alumni students can download and complete Chalk and Wires’ Alumni Renewal Form and pay the required subscription fee.

Functionality in a renewed account is the same as that of enrolled students, which includes the following features:

  • Create, author, submit and share ePortfolios;
  • Access, complete and submit Assignments;
  • Create, author, submit and share Collaborative Portfolios and Workspaces;
  • Upload, manage and store Files (documents, images, videos, etc);
  • Access and use images from the Image Gallery;
  • Review assessment Results (scores and comments);
  • Create and manage Journals;
  • View and complete assigned Field Placement (journals, assessments, forms).
