Inspera Exam Portal (IEP) may quit if another application is running in the background, or an automatic software update has launched while IEP is running. To resolve this: 

  1. Show all programs running in the background of the device by pressing:  
    • Windows: Ctrl + Alt + Del  
    • MacOS: Cmd + Opt + Esc  
  2. Select any open programs and select Force Quit / End Task (Finder will remain open on MacOS)  
  3. Re-open Inspera Exam Portal  
  4. If you have already commenced your exam, you will need assistance to re-open your exam: 
    • If you are at home: Contact AskUs for assistance. 
    • If you are in an exam room: Raise your hand to speak to a Tech Assistant.
