Linking to a researcher identifier like ORCID, ResearcherID or Scopus Author ID ensures that your research is discoverable and attributed to you in UQ eSpace (UQ's research repository) and elsewhere.

7. I need to store and promote my research

Check, claim or deposit your publications and research data into UQ eSpace, which:

  • Makes your research discoverable via Google Scholar and other search engines
  • Harvests Web of Science and Scopus citations, and altmetrics so you know who is citing and talking about your research
  • Allows sharing via social media tools
  • Is the official data source for publications on your UQ Researchers and UQ Author Statistics profile

8. I’ve got research data to manage

We can give advice, training and options on how to:

  • Store and share with your collaborators your project research data with the UQ RDM system
  • Request up to 1TB of storage by project with the UQ RDM system
  • Create and manage an online data management plan via the UQ RDM system
  • Meet funder and publisher requirements
  • Demonstrate research integrity
  • Archive your data and set access rules for your data in UQ eSpace to make it discoverable

9. I’d like some training

In addition to topics above, we offer in-person training on subjects like:

  • Basic and advanced search techniques
  • EndNote referencing software
  • Advanced Microsoft Word

All staff and students can check the Library training calendar or visit the Centre for Digital Scholarship for more info.
Staff members may want to check the UQ staff development site.

We also have online training via for software and I.T. skills such as statistics software, MS Office Suite, and image and video editing.
