Library tours

Our student-led library tours are a great way for you to learn your way around our spaces and find your ideal study spot!

Meet our Library Crew tour guides just outside the level 2 entrance to Central Library at 11am and 1pm every day during O-Week (19-23 July) to join our walking tours.

In line with current Queensland government restrictions, don't forget to check in with the Check In QLD app and wear a mask.

Library training sessions

Our amazing technology trainers will be running classes online and in person through O-Week to help you learn to use Learn.UQ (Blackboard) and other important UQ systems.

Find out more information about Introduction to Learn.UQ (Blackboard) and IT essentials for UQ students on the Orientation website!

Central Chill Out

Not able to join a tour, or just want some quiet time to meet new friends over a cup of coffee? Join us at the big purple steps for our Central Chill Out event on Thursday 22 July between 4pm and 6pm.

Koala Competition

Want to win a photo printer for all your best smartphone snaps?

Enter our koala competition by taking a selfie with one of our library koalas this O-Week! Our staff will be roaming library spaces with some clip-on koalas, and we want to see your best photos with them on social media!
