Music Research Essentials: A new open textbook

Music Research Essentials, a new open textbook, was published in February 2024 in Open Textbooks @ UQ.

About the book  Music Research Essentials by Simon Perry, Kat Lee, Adam McCarthy and Felicity Berends

Music Research Essentials is for undergraduate music students and provides discipline-specific information on the fundamentals of doing music research. It was designed with first-year students in the School of Music at the University of Queensland in mind, but it also provides generic information that is more widely applicable.

It was written as a collaboration between Library and academic staff at The University of Queensland.
