DH Library High-Use collection in Central Library until mid-January 2021

Updates

On Tuesday 9 February 2021, the High-Use collection will return to level two, Dorothy Hill Engineering and Sciences Library. Items will be unavailable while they are moved.

You will also be able to select DH Library as the pick-up location for requested items (where the item is not already available at St Lucia campus).

Between 15 December 2020 and early 2021, the High-Use collection from the Dorothy Hill Engineering and Sciences Library will be temporarily located on level three of Central Library. Please visit Central Library to borrow or return items during regular opening hours.

This change ensures that the collection is stored in climate-controlled conditions during the Christmas period while we are closed.

Borrow and return in Central Library

Borrowing

The High-Use collection moved to level three of Central Library on 15 December. The items will be available for loan as normal from 16 December.

Returning

Where possible, please return high-use items on level three of Central Library. See Central Library and Duhig Tower update for more information.

Requested items

From 15 December, DH Library will be unavailable as a pickup location for new item requests. Please select Central Library or Architecture and Music Library instead.

  • Requested items awaiting pickup at DH Library can still be picked up and loaned until 22 December. Any items that remain on the shelf at that time will expire.
  • We may adjust the pickup location for your existing requested items to Central Library. We will notify you by email if this occurs.
