Access to the Library over Summer Semester 2019-2020

Information on Library access for new, continuing and graduating students.

Continuing students

  • Continuing students have uninterrupted access to the Library during the break, provided you have enrolled in Semester 1 courses by 18 December 2019. If you enrol after this date your access will be restored the next business day.
  • You do not need to be enrolled in Summer Semester courses to be considered a continuing student.

Graduating students (Semester 2, 2019)

Graduates can apply for Alumni membership with the Library. Membership is free in the first year and $75 dollars a year thereafter.

Your membership will enable you to:

  • borrow items from our print collection
  • access a limited number of Alumni databases.

Visit our services for alumni page to explore membership benefits and to apply.

New students

You will have access to the Library three weeks prior to the start of the semester. You will be considered a new student if:

  • you are a new undergraduate or postgraduate student with enrolments for next semester
  • you graduated and completed your programme last semester and are enrolled in courses for the coming semester
  • you have previously had a library record which has expired or if you have withdrawn or interrupted your studies.
