Scientist loves his Library

Professor Peter Gresshoff has been a loyal supporter of the Library for 16 years through the Workplace Giving Program.

He is the Director of the Centre for Integrative Legume Research (CILR) which is an internationally-renowned research network of plant scientists conducting cutting-edge research into legumes and other plant species.

Peter decided to support UQ because,

I feel a responsibility towards my employer. It is a two-way relationship and a small donation each fortnight can make a difference.

He supports the Library as it is a valuable central service that benefits all students, staff and even members of the community.

The majority of Peter’s interactions with the Library are online, providing him access to databases to support his research and teaching.

Donations to the Library can go towards a donor’s designated area of interest. This year donations will assist us to increase our collections, fund the Fryer Fellowship, refurbish study spaces for students, increase our number of recharge stations and upgrade our digitisation equipment.
