You can borrow books, use databases, attend training and get help from the Library.
Your librarian is your first point of contact with the Library. They can assist you in your work to support UQ staff and students in their teaching and learning, and research practice.

We have Subject and How-to guides to help you search our collections and you can contact your librarian for help with finding the best information, including:

Online training is available via Lynda.com. Courses include office applications, statistics packages, web design and video editing tools.
UQ eSpace training for Unit Publications Officers is delivered via Research at UQ.
UQ Staff are automatically members of the Library. Borrow items with your staff ID card. If you're new and not yet in UQ staff systems, you can still borrow by completing a Library membership form. UQ senators can apply by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Borrow on behalf on a staff member
Proxy borrowing is available to senior UQ staff and eligible senior hospital staff. Complete the proxy borrower application form to arrange proxy borrowing.
