Collection strength
The University of Queensland Library has one of the largest collections amongst Australian academic libraries and is by far the largest in Queensland.
Our collection includes access to:
- 2.21 million book titles (electronic and print)
- 178 thousand journal titles (electronic and print)
This substantial collection is used extensively by UQ clients. In 2022, there were:
- 13.54 million journal article downloads
- 4.62 million ebook downloads (chapter or title)
- 56 thousand physical item loans
Our institutional repository, UQ eSpace, houses over 485,500 items authored or co-authored by UQ affiliated researchers, including more than:
- 299,700 journal articles
- 78,800 conference papers
- 27,400 theses
165,600 of these items are available open access.
