Borrowing for secondary students
As a year 11 or 12 student you may apply to borrow from the UQ Library to access an extensive collection of books for research and assignments. Membership is free.
- You must be able to come to a UQ campus to borrow and return books. Membership does not allow access to online resources.
- Your school must be a member of the UQL Cyberschool community. When joining, students will be asked to acknowledge by way of a tickbox that all items are to be returned by the due date and agree to pay replacement costs of items not returned, or repair costs for damaged items. This remains at $145 per item.
- There may be a short delay in processing your membership and sending your borrowing card.
- If you have any queries about membership, please contact your teacher librarian or UQL Cyberschool
Managing your loans
You must return your items on time, or renew them online, before the due date to avoid accruing library fines.
