The Fryer Library Fellowship invites scholars to visit UQ and undertake a research project using the Fryer Library’s rare and special collections. The successful applicant will receive $20,000. Applications for the 2026 fellowship close on Friday 8 May 2026.

Our hackathon will be held at the Central Library from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 March. Registered participants will take part in a weekend of activities on levels 1 and 2 to develop innovative solutions to key challenges and compete for exciting prizes.

After 31 December 2025, some changes to open access publishing agreements may affect publishing or access to some journals.

Selected 24/7 study spaces and collections are available between 24 December 2025 and 5 January 2026 with your UQ ID card. Other Library services are not available during the break.
