Course coordinators, start considering your learning resources, reading lists and textbooks for Semester 2, 2026 to ensure they are available to your students in Week 1.
Publish your list
Log in to Talis Aspire and search for your course reading list.
- Add or remove items.
- Assign a reading importance - this helps students prioritise readings.
- Add notes for students if required (e.g. Read pages 1–23) or notes to the Library (e.g. Please move to High Use area).
- Organise your list if required (e.g. topics, weeks or modules).
- Publish your list.
Textbook supply
For Semester 2, students can purchase textbooks from any supplier, including academic publishers and online platforms. UQ no longer has a preferred textbook supplier or campus bookstore.
To support students, staff are encouraged to:
- prescribe electronic resources if possible
- be aware that print stock levels may vary across retailers.

- Lists are available now for updating and publishing.
- Course coordinators should publish their course reading lists by 19 June 2026.
- Semester 1 commences 27 July 2026.
Course reading list link in Learn.UQ (Blackboard)
Your published reading list should be automatically linked in Learn.UQ. Check the course reading list link to ensure your list is linked to the correct course and semester.
Tools to help find learning resources
