Borrowing for students and staff of other universities (reciprocal)

Current staff (including honorary appointments) and students from universities participating in the University Libraries of Australia and New Zealand Borrowing Scheme may apply for reciprocal membership with The University of Queensland Library.

Reciprocal membership is free and enables you to borrow items from our physical collection. Visit our borrowing rules page to find out more about reciprocal borrowing privileges.

How to apply

Eligible university staff and students should provide either a confirmation of enrolment or a current payslip as part of your membership application.

Your library card is required for borrowing.

We will email you once your membership application is processed. Collect your library card from any AskUs service point during service hours.
