  • implement techniques to make online content accessible to all
  • select appropriate online platforms to publish web content

  • Online users scan web content to quickly decide if it is relevant and useful
  • Think about your audience when you plan your content

  • Put important information first and follow up with the background and details
  • Structure your content for easy scanning

 Write web content

  • Use plain language to make your content easy to understand
  • Try to match the reading level of your audience but remember that even experts prefer plain language

 Web accessibility

  • All users should be able to access, use and understand your web content
  • You can use techniques to make your content accessible, such as alternative text for images and correctly formatted tables.

 Make content findable

  • Your audience needs to be able to find your content
  • Put the keywords and phrases that your audience uses into the title, metadata and body of your content

 Publish web content

  • There are web building platforms available for writing and publishing your web content
  • You can use text editors and web development languages to create your web content
