Collections

There are two collections available to UQ students in the USQ Library.

UQ Core Collection - These are available to UQ students only and can be borrowed using a guest USQ ID card. All UQ students studying at the Ipswich Campus during the teach-out period will be elligible for a guest USQ ID card.

UQ / USQ Collection - These are available to both UQ and USQ students and can also be borrowed by UQ students using a guest USQ ID card.

Books and other materials can be returned through the chutes inside Building H on Level 2, next to the Student Centre desk. There is an after-hours return chute at the entrance to Building H which is accessible when the building is closed.

Both the UQ Core Collection and the UQ / USQ Collection are not available to UQ students studying at other UQ locations.

Access to other UQ collections

UQ students studying at Ipswich during the teach-out period will have access to all collections from other UQ Libraries by placing a hold on an item. Holds can be requested by selecting the Place a Hold option once the item has been identified in UQ Library Search. Requested items will be delivered to the USQ Library for pick-up.
