Preparing your MacOS device to running Inspera Exam Portal off campus

If you are using MacOS, you will be prompted to provide Inspera Exam Portal with access to your camera, microphone, screen recording and full disk access when you first complete the system checks in Inspera Exam Portal. To avoid having to set these permissions during the system checks process, which can cause delays in accessing your assessment, you should pre-approve this access before running Inspera Exam Portal for the first time. 

1. From the Apple menu choose System Preferences. 
2. Click on  Security & Privacy. 
3. Click on the Privacy tab. 
4. Select Camera and check the checkbox next to Inspera Exam Portal to allow it to access the Camera. 
5. Repeat step 4 for Microphone, Full Disk Access and Screen Recording.
