If you receive the error message, it means that you have previously created an edX (Edge) account using your UQ student email address (e.g. s1234567@student.uq.edu.au). To resolve this issue, you will need to complete the following steps:

 you have successfully signed into university of queensland, but your university of queensland account does not have a linked edx account. to link your accounts, sign in now using you edx password

  1. Log in to your edX (Edge) account using the email address and password you used when creating the edX (Edge) account. If you do not know your password, click on the Forgot password? link. This will send a message to your UQ email with a link to reset your password.

Note: Make note of your password

  1. Return to the log in page and log in using your student email address and your new password.
  2. Click the arrow by your username and select Account from the drop-down menu.

  1. In Account Settings, click on the Linked Accounts tab.

  1. Under The University of Queensland section, click on Link Your Account.
