Collection overview

Our collection contains published fiction and poetry from key Australian writers, Australian literary criticism and biography. It also includes a large selection of unpublished papers from award-winning Australian writers such as Peter Carey, Thea Astley, Oodgeroo Noonuccal and David Malouf. Manuscript and typescript drafts, correspondence with editors and publishers, photographs and diaries can be found in these collections of papers.

The University of Queensland Press Records form a corporate history of the press and its publications. It comprises over 600 boxes of production files, typescripts, editorial drafts, galley proofs, correspondence and minutes of publishing meetings.
