We encourage course co-ordinators to start considering learning resources, reading lists and textbooks for Semester 2 to ensure they are available to your students in Week 1.
Start managing your reading lists in Talis Aspire
We are encouraging course coordinators to publish your course reading lists in Talis Aspire.
- To publish your list:
- Login to Talis Aspire and search for your course reading list.
- Update relevant required items to Required - own copy needed (to indicate that you expect students to possess a copy).
- Add any new readings. Organise your list and set reading importance e.g. recommended.
- Add any relevant Notes for Students and Notes for the Library to readings.
- Publish your list.
- Add Required – own copy needed items in section 3.1 of your ECP, remove any recommended readings and select Confirm.

Not ready to use Talis Aspire?
If you aren’t ready to use Talis Aspire, the Library can continue to create your course reading list for you. You can help us do this by:
- Updating and confirming sections 3.1 and 3.2 of your ECP
- Email learningresources@library.uq.edu.au with additional or further readings.

Key dates for Semester 2
- Lists are available now for updating and publishing
- Course coordinators should confirm their learning resources by 29 May 2023
- The Library will publish any lists still in draft on 14 July 2023
- Semester 2 commences 24 July 2023.

Course reading list link in Learn.UQ (Blackboard)
Your reading list should be automatically linked to your Learn.UQ course in the Learning Resources module as Course Reading List.
Check the course reading list link to ensure your list is linked to the correct course and semester.

Open educational resources
