We are always working on ways to improve how library study spaces work for you. Check out these recent upgrades and tell us what you think.

Laptop ready study spaces

Connect your laptop or compatible device to expand your workstation with a 24-inch screen, keyboard and mouse at 120 upgraded study spots in selected libraries.

  • Extend your device screen to work across two screens
  • Move the screen to your liking

Bookable study pods in Central Library

You can now book a study pod (semi-enclosed desk) for individual quiet study in the High-Use and Requested Items section on level one of Central Library.

Updated student kitchen at UQ Gatton

The student kitchen in the JK Murray Library (level one) has been upgraded with a fresh new look. The kitchen includes a fridge, microwave, seating, and hot and cold water. The space is available 24/7 with your UQ ID card.

Video call Askus for assistance

You can now video call our AskUs team for assistance at kiosks in selected libraries between 10am and 3pm, Monday to Friday. Our virtual service means you can get help in more places!
