Library opening hours for our locations, services and collections for Easter, the mid-semester break, and Anzac Day public holiday for 2021.

Face to face with a little space

[Updated 1 April]  The Greater Brisbane three-day lockdown ended at 12 noon Thursday 1 April. Restricted access to campuses have been lifted. Students should continue to work from home for the remainder of Thursday 1 April unless you need to attend campus.

In line with Queensland Government requirements, you must wear a face mask when visiting UQ libraries until 12pm on Thursday 15 April. In addition:

Easter weekend, 2-5 April

We wish you a happy and safe Easter weekend.

  • 24/7 spaces and collections are available with your UQ ID card including the Biological Sciences Library, Central Library, Law Library, Dorothy Hill Engineering and Sciences Library, and Gatton Library.
  • AskUs, including Chat, is closed 2-5 April. Send us a question online and we'll get back to you from Tuesday 6 April.

Other locations, services and collections are closed.

Mid-semester break, 5-9 April

We are closed on Easter Monday, 5 April 2021, as described above.

During the mid-semester break our locations, services, and collections are open so you can come in and study or use the collection. See our opening hours for details.

Anzac Day Public Holiday, 26 April

  • 24/7 spaces and collections are available with your UQ ID card.
  • AskUs phone and chat, and the service point at Central Library are available 12-5pm.
  • Other locations, services and collections are closed.
