Easter and mid-semester break hours 2020

This post explains our opening hours and services during Easter, the mid-semester break and ANZAC day.

Ongoing changes to our hours and services

The changes in this post are in addition to the temporary changes to library hours and services in place since 26 March due to COVID-19, which include:

  • all library physical collections closed until further notice
  • AskUs providing assistance online
  • 24/7 study spaces available and some locations temporarily closed.

You must practice physical (social) distancing our spaces. Check the latest Health Advice from UQ before you visit campus.

Easter weekend, 10-13 April

We wish you a happy and safe Easter weekend.

  • 24/7 study spaces including Biological Sciences Library, Central Library, Law Library, Dorothy Hill Engineering and Sciences Library, and Gatton Library are available with your UQ ID card.
  • AskUs, including Chat, is closed 10-13 April. Send us a question online and we'll get back to you from Tuesday 14 April.

All collections and other locations are closed. 

Mid-semester break, 13-17 April

We are closed (as above) for Easter Monday. 

During mid-semester break AskUs is available:

  • 8am-8pm, from Tuesday 14 to Friday 17 April
  • 12-5pm over the weekend.

24/7 study spaces are available. See our opening hours for study space availability.

ANZAC Day, 25 April

AskUs is available online 12-5pm on Saturday 25 April and 24/7 study spaces are available.
