Network outage, Central Library, Sunday 18 August 2019

On Sunday 18 August, we are upgrading the network in Central Library. The upgrades are expected to take all day. There will be service interruptions in the building that affect borrowing from the collection, library computers, printing and wireless internet.

These upgrades will help us provide faster and more reliable internet access in this busy library.

Services that will be affected

During the upgrades, the following services will be offline in Central Library:

  • Library computers
  • iPads for searching the collection
  • Printers
  • Wireless internet

Borrowing and returning items

You can borrow and return items in Central Library during the network upgrades. However,  your loan receipt emails will be delayed until after network upgrades are completed.

Consider an alternative study space

Other library locations will be operating as normal on Sunday with computers, printers and the internet, including the attached Duhig Tower. If you are visiting campus to study, consider using an alternative study space. Use your UQ ID card to access 24/7 spaces.

AskUs will be available 12-5pm on Sunday
