New Library resource for UQ researchers

The Library provides great services, support and advice to UQ Researchers and Higher Degree Research (HDR) students. We're here to help you do your best research.

We have recently redeveloped our Services for researchers web pages, which have been designed to guide you through the support on offer at each stage of the research lifecycle: PlanProjectPublishPromote.

Services for researchers (YouTube, 1m14s)

We have developed a For Researchers video series featuring current HDR candidates and Library staff. Each video includes links to relevant content. Explore the resource to learn more about how we can support you with:

  • Developing a search strategy
  • Literature reviews and systematic reviews
  • EndNote
  • Managing your research data
  • Data analysis software
  • Determining where to publish
  • Research impact and metrics
  • Promoting your research online and at conferences

There’s a lot that you might not expect to find. For instance, did you know that UQ Library has a Journal Publishing Decision Tool that compares pre-selected journals across a wide range of criteria in order to help you determine the best outlet for your work?

Exploring these new pages early on will enable you to make strategic decisions before, during, and after your research. Make the most of what’s available, and get in touch with your liaison librarian for further one-to-one assistance tailored to your specific research and needs.

We would like to thank the HDR candidates and Library staff members who made these videos possible.
